We will start the route with a walk to the Hermitage of the Virgen del Puerto, taking advantage of the cooler morning. we´ll Climb up through the named Old Port Road. Once in the chapel we´ll enjoy beautiful views of the city and begin our descent through the meadow of great beauty that is the Protected Landscape named Mount of Valcorchero. Later we´ll descend to the city crossing the park of pines with plenty of peacocks and ducks.
Then we´ll cross the Coronation Park where we will see the aqueduct of Los Arcos and then the walls of the city in its most beautiful stretch known as Santa Lucia. In the center of interpretation of the walls will learn about them and then continue to the city center, past the parish of San Pedro. We´ll visit the cathedral and have lunch in a restaurant. To wash it down we propose a walk through the streets around St. Nicolas and St. Domingo parishes.
We´ll go down to the river to the bridge of San Lazaro (XIII century) and continue across the river walk, walk under Trujillo bridge of Roman origin, and will end the day in the park of the island where you can enjoy a deserved rest.
