San Martin de Trevejo is one of the prettiest villages in the far northwest of Cáceres province. We´ll Admire the beautiful town of San Martín de Trevejo and we´ll realize that some people here, (the older) speak a different "language". We´ll start the way called "de Navasfrías" surrounded by chestnut trees, some of considerable age, until St. Martín port
where the car will be waiting for us to take us to the small town of Trevejo where we´ll enjoy a well-preserved architecture, see anthropomorphic tombs carved into the granite rock, next to the parish of San Juan Bautista and the ruins of its castle, which was as destroyed as you see in the War of Independence. The sunsets are spectacular from the castle so we could terminate the tour here and wait for it to occur.
