From Portezuelo to Pedroso de Acim across Valdecocos Valley.
This tour runs through the Valdecocos Valley between the towns of Portezuelo and Pedroso de Acim, a beautiful landscape of meadows and pine forest where it is not difficult to trip over a deer. We´ll start in "Marmionda" Castle whose past is Visigothic, Almohad and Templar, placed in Portezuelo. We´ll take the way to  Pedroso de Acim where    we´ll reach after about 10 km.
Before arriving to the start point, Portezuelo, we´ll visit the ruins of the bridge of Alconétar that were rescued from Alcántara reservoir. On the way we´ll visit the ruins of an old factory of rovings and a mill. Once in Pedroso de Acim we´ll visit the Convent of Palancar, beautiful enclave founded by the hermit St. Pedro de Alcántara who faithfull to his words "that shine in our buildings all poverty, roughness and villainy", built this monastery which is considered one of the World's smallest.
