Ancient Trees in Ambroz Valley I.
First weŽll see the majestic corktree of "Fresneda", Close to Aldeanueva del Camino. From there weŽll go to Segura de Toro, where weŽll start the ascent of a low hardness hike with little distance (1.5 km) to the site of the chestnut of "Temblar". In this unique environment we will eat a picnic with a great selection of Extremadura products.
After that weŽll descend to "Segura de Toro" where weŽll see the stone boar, a Celtiberian icon perhaps of fertility, and back to the car to start the return. WeŽll go to Plasencia, passing through Cabezabellosa where we lower the car to admire the oak known as "Acarreadero". On this route we will have enjoyed a beautiful view over the Jerte Valley and Ambroz Valley.
