Hurdes has a wide anthropological and gastronomic richness and is also rich in landscapes including its ancient festivals. The Brickyard riverbeds, Hurdano, Malvellido, Los Angeles and Esperabán irrigated areas, and numerous streams and natural pools of crystal clear water. In this area live in freedom protected animals such as otters, black stork and the wildcat. Highlights include the stunning views of the surroundings of Gabriel y Galán reservoir and the viewpoint of La Antigua.
