The first stop of this varied route we will do in the ruins of the Roman city of Caparra in the Roman, Silver Route. In the Interpretation Center can attend an interesting recreation of what life was like at the age of this city. We´ll cross the farm tracks to Zarza de Granadilla where cranes will be easy to find and follow road to Granadilla, important old Christian and Arab town that had to be abandoned in the mid-twentieth century because much of their agricultural lands were being submerged under the water level of the reservoir Gabriel y Galán.
Since 1984 belongs to Recovery Abandoned Villages Program and our visit will certify the good work that is being doing in this beautiful walled town. At the next stop, at the Palace of the Dukes of Alba in the town of Abadía we´ll admire one of the few examples of Mudejar architecture in the province. We ´ll finish the tour in Hervas that has one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in Spain. Before lunch at a restaurant you can visit the museum "Perez Comendador".
