Culebro Mount is the highest Mount in the vicinity of La Pesga, with 959 meters. From there you get a stunning view over the swamp Gabriel y Galán and can distinguish several towns of Alagón and Ambroz Valleys. The purpose of this route is to identify these towns and other landscape elements using a compass and a map. We´ll Lay a
transparent plastic screen between two poles on it and we´ll mark these points with its name. But before we get to the top we´ll have visited Casar de Palomero, town where lived together Christians, Jews and Muslims. We´ll walk around its neighborhoods and stop in the Interpretation Centre of Olive and Oil. Then the car will pick us up and we´ll go to "El Pontón de la Perrilla" on the road between Rivera Oveja and La Pesga.
From there we´ll atart the ascent of about 7 km in which overcome a drop of about 550 meters. At Culebro Peak we´ll lunch and lay the panel said. We´ll finish the day with a barbecue at the place named "El Araña" near “Los Ángeles” river in Rivera Oveja.
